Ok I was supposed to blog ytd but there was sth wrong with my com. So, I couldn't blog.
Batch outing was...
special... It wasn't really an outing, nor was it just a simple dinner. We really talked, and problems surfaced.
To all those out there who is currently struggling in cca:
I want to say one thing, find back your passion. I know its not always easy, in fact, it is so difficult that at times, I wonder if its even possible to find back a lost passion. Its easy to gain it, but once its lost....you get the idea. Even though you may be tired-physically or mentally, you have to recapture the fun element of cca. Cca is supposed to be enjoyable, not something we dread and avoid... I'm sure that THAT fun element is staring you right in your face, just that you always seem to overlook it. Oh and PLEASE do not feel left out wherever you might be in, lets make an analogy with altos, they are not always heard, but they are felt, and are ESSENTIAL in the choir, or else the chording and harmony would totally fall apart. So don't feel discouraged if you seem like an "extra", coz you are not. Wherever you are, God placed you there for a reason.
Ok that's enough abt cca. I feel like I'm preaching which is NOT a healthy sign. What if I become naggy? "Go for cca blah blah blah", "dont pwn cca blah blah blah" OH THE HORROR.
Ok I just wanted to share sth that we prayed for in church ytd, abt our nation's birthday. Erm if you dont feel comfortable abt reading it, you can always skip to the

Paster Joyce asked us to pray for singapore, to give the leaders strength, ok that is a standard thing that we always do every year in my previous church. However the second thing that she asked us to pray for was slightly different and kinda interesting...
She asked us to pray that Singapore will remain a fishing village.
Its a great analogy, God wants all of us to be fishers of men, always saving souls for his kingdom, and living in Singapore, what with Singapore being a multi-racial society, allows us to be safe while saving. We ARE still a fishing village, fishing men for christ. =D
God works in miracules ways.
